Here are the area's where we need help at our current times...
Dark Basic Coding:
$2 per hour
or
$5 per code (completed)
3D Modeling:
$2 per hour
or
$5 per humanoid model & $3 per small world object or $4 per large world object (swords, shields, armor, clothing, etc.)
Skinning (needs to be capable of skin making as well):
1. $4 for a humanoid skin made & mapped onto the character.
2. $3 for a world object or misc object made & mapped on the model.
Our current project is Nation of Fur, a 3D RPG. All humanoid models will be of Furs, we need help for Fur models at this time.
Modelers should be able to do humanoid models, & should be able to work with limbs for the most part. We will have a complex system of limbs in place, for each body part. So the upper torso will be a one model, while the head will be another, & so on.
Skinners should be able to make highly detailed skins, as seen in the game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, which is capble of skinning multiple joints. Each skin should be in 256x256 pixel format.
This will allow for much more control for the characters movements, & allow for better polygons for the models without reaching the model limit.
We are only interested on people who are serrious about making models for us, there are a few rules in place for this, I will list them now...
1. We can only pay in USD (United States Dollar)
2. We can only pay via paypal
3. You must have MSN IM & if you choose the $2 per hour, you must be online while working, you will not be payed for the time in which you arnt online.
4. You must have one model done per day (at hourly rates only)
5. If being payed per model, you have 5 days to get one model out & delive it to us via email.
6. We will not pay for uncompleted models or skins you must complete the entire model, before we will pay anything.
7. You can quit at any time, but you will not get payed for the current model you are/were working on.
8. We have set a cap for each model (hourly rates only,) which is $10 as not to be overcharged.
9. There is a cap for each 2 week payperiod, which will be set on our forum.
Here is our definition of a completed model...
A completed model will be, in the case of a humanoid, all of the features that the humanoid will have, upper arms, upper legs, upper torso's, lower torso's, lower legs, lower arms, hands (with 5 fingers on each hand, not those boxes that you see in most games,) feet, tails (if applicable), heads, etc.
Each complete model will contain all of those parts. Since we are using the limb system, that will govern the complete model, if there is one area that you are not sure about, ask us. In the end, we will govern what a full model is, so its best to ask us what a full model is before you start.
We define a world model, with all of its animations (if its a weapon or shield, we need 2 different models. One without hands, & one with a right hand (for weapon) or left hand (for shield).) One world model will be enough to do everything that we need with that model with. The animations we will need will be...
For weapon:
1. Idle
2. Thrust Attack
3. Chop Attack
4. Slash Attack
For Shield:
1. Idle
2. Blocking
For Moving:
1. Walking
2. Running
3. Crouching
4. Sneaking (Crouching while walking)
5. Jumping
6. Taking damage
7. Dying
If its an object on ingreadient, its one model only, not 2, as it will be mainly in the world (& we will make a sprite for inventory.)
Here is our definition of a complete skin...
A complete skin should allow for the entire model to be skinned (as described above.) We need 6 area's of detail a least, the head, the chest, the lower torso & tail, the legs & arms, the hands, & the feet. We need this on preferably a 256x256 pixel windows bitmap image (.bmp.) We can work with a 512x512 .bmp image, but we prefer 256x256.
To save space to add all features, we made the legs & arms the same skin part of the skin, the hands a part of the skin, the feet another part, the face another, & the torso(s) & tail can be one skin, but we need part of the torso, similar to the top half, but without the chest markings.
We will probably make the bottom torso just like the bottom half of the upper torso, & use the same thing for the tail.
We are in desperate need of modelers, so we will only ask for 2 things right now, listed above. We are even in more desperate of need for a humanoid modeler who wants to help in one of our projects & be payed at the same time.
Note(s): Since we are paying you for your time, you will not be cut in at the end for a percentage of the profit.
If you are interested, our email is at the bottom of the page. Email us there, if you want the job. Be prepared to submit some samples of your skills, if applying for the position of modeler, be prepared for a sample of a fur model, if applying for the position of skinner, be prepared to submit a sample of a skin for a fur model.
Make sure either one is of high quality, & be prepared to wait for a few days to hear from us.
